Now Broadcasting From Heaven’s Cloud 9 Studio
WOULD YOU AGREE that A LIFE which wholly honors God leaves an unforgettable impact-for-good on earth?
SUCH IS THE LEGACY of Christian Television Network Founder Bob D’Andrea. He recently passed from here to eternity, undoubtedly hearing at the heavenly gates: “Well done my good and faithful servant.” In 1979 he began CTN from ‘scratch’ and, as president of the network, Bob used his passion for excellence to develop a vision: broadcasting the full gospel into every home in his beloved America.
TODAY, reaching an estimated 55 million homes in the USA and worldwide (via satellite), CTN has stations all over the country from Colorado to South Carolina, including three in Tennessee: Nashville, Chattanooga and Knoxville.
WHILE AT the Christian Television Network headquarters in Clearwater, Florida a couple months ago, (for an invitation to be interviewed about the Renee’ for the Republic mission), my husband and I were blessed to receive a tour of their huge facility filled with broadcasting and lighting equipment, housing numerous studios.
AMONG the staff and new friends we made? Bob’s lovely and personable wife, Jane. She and other employees at CTN felt led to pray for us so we stopped right where we were in the building, held hands in a circle, and they enveloped us in prayer…..lifting up our ministry and our families. You could just feel the warm love and The Holy Spirit permeating throughout. Another one of those “God moments” we’ll treasure.
AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE inside the HEADQUARTERS, and front-and-center in every CTN affiliate station, you’ll see a sign that says this: “Jesus Christ, The Living Son of the Living God, Is The One To Whom This Television Station is Dedicated.” That….was by Bob’s design.
Sending comforting hugs to Jane and the entire CTN family during this time of earthly loss. Rest assured Bob is big-time broadcasting pure joy….live and “on-air” (from Studio Cloud 9?), in his new heavenly headquarters.
For such a time as this, Renee’ for the Republic, M.S., the Star Spangled Chick
